All the spotlight is not for me…

I miss the days when life was simple.
But if I never tried to follow that rainbow
… in search of the pot of gold.
Powerful lyrics from one of the most influential songs in my life.
That song, specifically those lyrics, have burned inside my head I since bought The Game’s album in 2011.
To me it’s a timeless song… part of my own theme music that will follow me for the rest of my life.
In particular, I have become obsessed with the term “pot of gold.” It could mean so many things. On the surface, it alludes to financial stability (money).
But in reality, it means so much more than that. It means freedom. We all have an ideal life that we envision for ourselves. The friends we want. The women we want. The money we want. The look we want. The lifestyle… the freedom to have all those things and not have a care in the world. That’s total security.
Deep down we are all chasing our own pot of gold.
I haven’t always known what I wanted to do with my life. In fact, 2014 marked the beginning of an era when things started to make really sense for me (financially).
Strength By Sonny represents a significant stepping stone leading towards my pot of gold.
It is my website. I am the creator. I am the owner. It is 100 % my brand.
No one can come close to copying it because no one on this side of the Internet has lived the life I have lived. No one has my insight (certainly not for this age). No one brings this level of realness.
My brand is everything to me. For years, I have made it my craft. I am always working on it. I am always developing new insights on my relationship with the world.
How do you find your pot of gold?
Get your pot of gold… This is the treasure map from the movie, The Goonies.
You start looking for it with a map. Except it’s not like the movies where you stumble upon an old treasure map in your attic.
You create the map. You decide the starting point. You draw the roads. You determine where X marks the spot.
You call the shots. Your first step toward creating your own treasure map is to get a notebook and start writing in it.
Write down everything you know about your brand. Write down your strengths. Write down your weaknesses. Write down your goals in life. Write down your deepest darkest fears.
Write it all down. Like I said, we all have our own pot of gold. This is the best way to start developing YOUR GAME PLAN (treasure map) so you can get there.

The notebook you use for something of this much importance absolutely matters. You could buy a cheap notebook from Walmart for a dollar and write everything down in it.
But it wouldn’t mean as much, would it? No. You would be more likely to scribble in it… carelessly toss it around… and eventually, lose it.
A notebook made by a company with a history of excellence and treating their products like works of art changes everything. Writing in such a notebook would make you care more. You would choose your words carefully because you would not want to waste the pages that are available.
Your game plan would be more precise. Ultimately, you would exercise a greater level of responsibility because this notebook would have far more meaning to you. It could potentially be a pocket treasure that you carry around with you everywhere.

whats up sonny, just stopping by to say great job on your brand strenghtbysonny so far. Ive watching this site transform from just a few posts into what it is now and i know it obviously will be something way more expansive in the future. I also look forward to any books you may release in the future.
Oh yea i noticed that you dont have the plugin where when you click on an image in a post it brings it up as a pop-up where the reader can just click outside of the popup rather than having to click the back button. Maybe thats something you would want to look into or maybe i dont know what I’m talking about but anyway, keep the posts coming!
