Daniel Kelly Optimized Under 35 Book Review
What is Optimized Under 35 all about?
Daniel Kelly, founder of Optimized Army, recently released a game changing book called Optimized Under 35.
As the title suggests, this book is for men specifically under the age of 35 who want to learn more about using testosterone in a healthy and safe manner.
Consider this the official Optimized Under 35 book review.
Kelly’s book is a masterful work in just about every way you can imagine.
The paperback version is beautifully put together and at nearly 300 pages, is chock full of information.
I had been awaiting the release of this book for quite some time because no one had really put together a comprehensive resource for young(er) men on the ins and outs of using testosterone.
I first became aware of Daniel’s work in 2016 when I briefly considered using testosterone after I left Las Vegas.
Kelly’s book goes over all the concerns a young man would have regarding testosterone… and more.
His book starts off by telling the story of his own health/fitness journey and how he ultimately ended up going down the testosterone route.
Very much in the spirit of my first book, Of Tyrants & Tellers, he talks about the decline of masculinity and elaborates on some of the chemical and cultural factors causing this.
From there, he proceeds to explain everything you can imagine pertaining to the usage of testosterone. Some of the topics (chapters) include:
- why hormones are important
- how to get your blood test
- how to live a testosterone-friendly lifestyle
- what causes low testosterone
- the truth about anabolic steroids
- the benefits of optimized hormones
- dispelling all the myths concerning testosterone
- testosterone replacement therapy protocols
What I like most about Optimized Under 35
However, if I had to narrow down what I truly believe to be the most game changing aspect of this book, it has to be his chapter on finding the right doctor.
In this chapter, he literally coaches you on what to look for in a doctor and how to talk with them.
He even outlines 12 questions that you should ask your potential doctor.
I’ve worked with a lot of guys over the years who have asked me about “how to get test” and a lot of them think you just go in there, ask nicely, and they write you a script. Nope!
There is an entire lingo you need to use in order to show that you know what you are talking about. Again, Daniel goes over all of this in the chapter.
The book even contains interviews from doctors as well as other men under 35 who followed in Daniel’s footsteps by going on testosterone.
Even the forward was written by our good friend and leading expert on testosterone, Jay Campbell, author of The Testosterone Optimization Therapy Bible.
However, I think what truly makes this work complete is the extra stuff, related to overall fitness, that Daniel added beyond just hormones.
His “extra” valuable input focuses on:
- training
- diet
- supplementation
- discipline
- spirituality
- and the mindset needed to build a physique…
I really liked his take on that last point and it’s something I am looking forward to speaking with him more about during our upcoming interview.
Our interview will take place on Thursday March 21st at 1 PM EST.
It will be a Livestream in the Looksmax Mastermind Facebook Group.
Until then, make sure you get Daniel’s book and read it immediately. Your life will never be the same.
And please, be sure to leave him a 5 Star Review as I have. See you Thursday!
