I’ve been working out and have been a student of bodybuilding for nearly 10 years. Since June 2006, I have tried every split and muscle building routine you can imagine.

I’ve also read countless websites and magazine articles that supposedly give expert advice on bodybuilding. Most of these sources are redundant because they offer the same cookie cutter advice over and over again. There’s no variety. There’s nothing revolutionary. The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual is a different story…

To this day, there are only 3 bodybuilding books I have read that I strongly recommend to anyone who is starting out in the iron game:

1. The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding by: Arnold Schwarzenegger- This was the first book I read on bodybuilding. This book has it all. Mindset. Exercises. Training philosophy. Nutrition.

2. Get Serious by: Dr. Brett Osborn- I read this book this past summer and was amazed at how much more there is to learn regarding training, nutrition, and anti-aging. This book covers it all and I love how it breaks down the healthy lifestyle to an exact science. It was written by Dr. Brett Osborn, a neurosurgeon who clearly practices what he preaches. He is also part of the winning team (along with Jay) that runs the SOAR Seminars, the most complete anti-aging seminar in the world.

3. The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual by: Jay Campbell- I’ve already read this book twice. It is written by Jay Campbell of Fab Fit Over 40. And it is the most complete resource on testosterone replacement therapy. I’ve talked with Jay many times about this book. We even did a podcast on it during it’s early stages of development.

Before I give you guys my full review on Jay’s book. I just want to remind you (and inform you newcomers) of who Jay is. I clearly know what I’m doing when it comes to bodybuilding. I’ve been doing this for nearly 10 years and you see what I look like. But I don’t have all the answers. I often have questions myself. Jay is my go-to-guy when it comes to new ideas for training.

New training splits. Training intensity. Form and rep tempo. Diet. At one point or another, I’ve asked for Jay’s input on it all and he always steers me in the right direction. He’s the reason why this summer’s prep was my easiest prep to date, with the least amount of toll on my body.

On top of that, he’s also a great friend 🙂

Here is the full review of The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual:

The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual Review

The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual is a masterpiece. My numerous writing courses I took in college taught me the importance of structure and organization in your writing. Structurally, it has to make sense. It has to flow. Most importantly, your writing must have purpose.

The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual fulfills all of that (and much more). Jay did an excellent job at starting off his book on the right foot. He identifies one big, overarching problem that impacts men of all ages.

There is a war on men and the low testosterone epidemic is at the very heart of it. Low testosterone is a major problem that the majority of modern men suffer from (or will eventually suffer from).

However, there is hope… And that hope comes in the form of testosterone replacement therapy.

As Jay explains in his book, testosterone for a man is EVERYTHING. A man with little to no testosterone is not a man. He’s essentially a girl. That’s reality.

Gone are the days when men were men and could do useful manly shit. Now, spend a day in public and look at your average “man”.

Your average “man” today has no muscle mass, is lethargic, lacks competitive instinct, and has very feminine features. There is also an alarming number of straight males that have feminine voices and talk with that annoying queer lisp. Again, this isn’t guido logic… it’s reality.

Jay does a great job of giving you the facts. A man with high optimal blood testosterone levels is empowered because he enjoys the following:

  • Decreased body fat
  • Increased muscle mass
  • Improved heart health
  • Increased bone density
  • Improved cognition
  • Improved confidence with sexual partners
  • Increased sex drive
  • Improved Mindset
  • Competitive edge
  • More risk taking

Everyone is searching for that magic pill or that feeling of happiness. This is true for guys, especially in this day and age. Well, that list looks pretty damn good. Any guy down in the dumps would love to OWN THAT LIST. And you can…

Testosterone Replacement Therapy is an EXACT SCIENCE

This is not a steroid bible pieced together by some gym bros. This book is cutting edge stuff. It’s based off of decades of research by a highly qualified expert and is backed by medical expertise. This is a far cry from scoring clen from your bros at school and them telling you to just “eyeball it.”

Jay emphasizes to the reader that this is an exact science. Testosterone replacement therapy should only be done under the guidance of a qualified physician. In his book, Jay thoroughly covers every aspect/question/concern that a potential patient might have:

  • the initial “signs” and symptoms of low testosterone
  • the importance of knowing and understanding your endocrinology
  • the various options of administering testosterone (injections, creams, gels, pellets, patches, etc.)
  • the different types of testosterone (cypionate, enanthate, undecanoate, propionate)
  • the optimal TRT protocal
  • proper injection procedures
  • potential side affects (and how to alleviate them)
  • monitoring TRT for optimal health
  • the role of nutrition and fitness in TRT

The Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual is for men of all ages (HINT: Not Just Old Guys)

The time to start learning is RIGHT NOW! The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual is a great place to start!

The time to start learning is RIGHT NOW! The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual is a great place to start!

When you think testosterone replacement therapy, it’s easy to automatically think: “Oh I don’t have to worry about that. That’s an old guy’s problem.”

This couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, that’s one of the major premises of Jay’s book. Low testosterone is not an old guy’s problem. It is very much a young guy’s problem too. Our environment, our food, and even our culture have been hammering away at testosterone levels for decades.

Now we’re at the point where guys are becoming more and more feminine. Your average guy is a little pussy now 🙂 It’s the truth. You can either accept it and continue to let life walk all over you or you can do your research and do something about it.

HINT: The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy Manual is a great start 🙂

And for you guys who are not yet ready to make the lifelong commitment to TRT, The Definitive Testosterone Replacement Therapy MANual is the ULTIMATE INVESTMENT.

It’s the ultimate investment because the time to self-educate is not right at the point where a major health issue comes up (such as being diagnosed with low testosterone).

The time to educate yourself is RIGHT NOW.

RIGHT NOW is the answer.

The answer is right now because you want to be adequately prepared for action when that time comes. You don’t want to have a major health issue sneak up on you and then be forced to give yourself a crash course. That’s a horrible way to learn. Low testosterone is something that all men will eventually face.

You want to take your time. Learn everything you can at a manageable pace so that you are in the know. Learning about your body and how it responds to various substances is not something you want to rush. You want to be adequately prepared so that when that time comes, you are an expert on yourself. That’s why we’re in this game in the first place.

My only fears of adding testosterone is that ive heard it will shut down my ballz and making me sterile.. and I want to father children in some years …

So far I don’t think I agree with the idea of getting lifelong testosterone replacement therapy. I’ve heard that the body will stop making it’s own when you inject with artificial test (whether that’s true or not hopefully I’ll find out). I will still get the book to learn more about it.

There are also many natural and holistic ways to increase testosterone and reduce toxic estrogen load with your diet, training, and exposure to chemicals. 🙂

PS Get Serious looks like a great read!

True, a lot of information-providers are redundant, not only in the internet.

Just got my levels back and they were 248 ng-dl! I’m 23 and this is fucking low. I have the t levels of a 75 year old man. Thank God I got my levels checked. It all makes sense now for many years I have been depressed,no confidence, Socially isolated/awkward and very asexual feeling. No drive to talk to girl’s let alone balls,Hard to get homers. I am a very shy timid little pussy that has no motivation.got put on weekly testosterone. Cypionate, This most definitely has been the root of my problem. A lot of these docs like to persribe these bullshit ssris without looking at the source issue.

Damn bro. Well it’s good that you took matters in to your own hands instead of letting the problem get worse (like most guys do).

Great to hear! It’s only gonna go up from now on!

    Hey sonny,

I want to get on TRT but don’t know anything about it

Do I go to my regular primary care doctor or do I have to go to a specialize testosterone doctor, somewhere like NuMale?

Read this article and follow directions:

Don’t go through a doc for initial bloodwork because they will try to give you bullshit excuses and prevent you from doing it.

Cut out the middle man and use the company Jay recommends.

Also read his site because he is a leading expert on TRT (and anything else health related).

      Also buy his book.
